Denis Alan Thomas Kelly

Kelly, Denis Alan Thomas – 67, passed away peacefully at the QEII on January 20th, 2013. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to the late Alan Kelly and Hazel (Pynn) Kelly. Denis will be remembered for his fun loving attitude, sense of humor and big heart. He enjoyed meeting friends at the Cozy Snack bar and playing board games with family. Denis had a passion for collectables and owned and operated Bluenose Coin Shop for 16 years. He was a member of the Atlantic Provinces Numismatic Association. After selling the shop he was employed by the Chronicle Herald for 15 years. Survived and greatly missed by his wife Sharon (Evong); daughters Amanda (Daniel Reed), Kristen, Melanie (Kurt) Hepditch; two grandchildren; fur babies Mikey and Hugo; siblings Barbara Kelly, Deborah Kelly, Pat Kelly (Liz), Terry Kelly, British Columbia; and many nieces and nephews. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at the QEII for all the kindness and support during his final days. No visitation or funeral by request.
