To My Family; I am with you in thought and prayers and wish I could be there with you all now to honour and remember our Aunt, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend. Aunt Donna taught me how to laugh in times of adversity and how to have fun in a "BIG" way! She was always full of the "devil" and brought so much fun and happiness to our family. Some of my fondest memories are her and my Nanny taking me to bingo, probably at the age of 4 years old. They let me dance in the aisles and throw bingo chips like I was a flower girl at a wedding. They thought this was wonderful! And so did I! I will always remember swinging on your back porch swing, laughing our butts off and mustard sandwiches :) you had to be there :) I love you , miss you, thank you for all you have done for me and our family. You will always be the matriarch, thank you for being you. I love you with all my heart and always will. I hope you are having a big ol reunion right now and smiling down on us.  And Marguerite is right....Aunt Donna and Jenny had a special bond right from the start.....She taught my sister her first words.....which can not be repeated here :) I still think a part of her is in my sis today and that can be seen in her free spirit, love of life, and her specialness that only can be understood by those who knew and loved Donna. We would like to extend our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to Donna's immediate family in this time of deep sorrow. Although we did not keep close contact over the years, there were those times when our paths crossed and we would reminisce about the good times we enjoyed when we were kids. Donna was a colourful person and you never had to guess what she was thinking..
She could keep you in stiches for hours with storys of some of her escapades. Deep down she was a very giving person and we are all going to miss her. We won't say goodbye, just so long Cuz, and thanks for all the good memories.

To all the family.  I worked with Donna many years ago at Roseway Hospital. Not only was she a great caregiver but was so much fun to work with. We reconnected again when she moved to Shelburne and had many wonderful visits. I shall sadly miss her as she was a special friend. Please accept our sincere condolences to each of you, Sincerely. To aunt Donna, I just wanted to thank you for being you. As the oldest niece I feel very confident in saying how much you were loved by all of us. I know when we went to visit as kids if mom or dad said no we just had to ask Aunt Donna and we knew we hwould have it. Even when she did not have to give she always found a way. We have all faced adversities in our lives but I think Aunt Donna seen more than her shRe but always came out the other end with a smile.
Maggie you are a very  special person, you were with her all through this and she was blessed to have you. You were her angel in the last days of here life. I hope you realize the blessings you bestowed your mother.
Marty, Cath, Mag and Tom, I cannot tell how sorry I am for your loss, but know your loss is ours as well. We all loved Aunt Donna and always will. I only wish she had been able to meet my four children. I know her and Rosemary and granny are all looking down at us with big smiles and lots of love. 
 Remember your mom has raise again in glory with God and all the Angels. May God bless and keep you all In his loving embrace. Love you all and wish I could be there with you, but know my love is with you always-Shawny

Sending my love and special thoughts to my nieces and nephews today.  Your mother as well as each and every one of you have been in my thoughts so much lately.
Although we have all "been through the hoops" with Donna over the years, so to speak, I think each and everyone of us has always had our own special bond with her, which has always kept that special love in our hearts.
Just think of how many times she has made us laugh by things she has said or done over tine.  Especially the things she has done; which those that come to mind at this moment, I dare not mention.  I'm sure you can all think of something at this moment and at least give a big smile.

I was also thinking today, how much her nieces and nephews loved her.  I can still see those little smiles and hear those little giggles when she would whisper something in one of their ears, then say "don't tell your mother what I said."  Guess she was just helping them to expand on their vocabulary. LOL
Boy- did the kids ever love it !!!  I also remember our niece Jenny when she was just a little girl sitting on Donna's lap and saying "you're so soft and fluffy Aunt Donna, and I want to be jut like you when I grow up"  These are the kind of thoughts I hope you will all have today and have another good laugh with Donna.
Now on  a more serious note:  Maggie, my praise to you for looking after your mother over the past few months.  And Mary Ellen, we are all so proud of you for being there for our sister as well as her children over the past week or so, and holding things together.

My love to everyone!!!!  Wish I was there with all of you,.  See you in approximately a month.
