Hard to believe it’s been four years, Uncle Eddie. And soon it’ll be four years since we lost Dad, this July 16. Time moves fast, but the missing never really stops.

I like to think the two of you are up there somewhere, catching up over some of Camille’s fish and chips.

I think about you nearly every day Eddie. I'm sorry for the times I was less than kind to you. I miss your gentle ways and your silly sense of humour. If heaven exists, I'm sure you made it... just bearly!

Well it's been two years since you left this wicked world. I hope you're happier on the home planet buddy. Shouldn't be too much longer before the mothership comes for me. Keep the home fires burning Ed! I love you!

I can't believe a year has passed since Eddy passed away. I miss him so much sometimes it hurts. I miss laughing with him about stupid things that only he would "get". I miss the feeling that someone is actually listening to me. I miss having someone that made me feel that it's ok to just be me. I love you Eddy.

those who knew ed knew he loved halloween , but sadly I don't have many photos  anyone who has any photos of the ballarina in a "four four"(twice the size of a too-to LOL ) at martigraw   he froze the crowd dancing with a 8ft. frankenstien to the hit ghost busters.

I was saddened to hear of Eddie's passing.  Although I haven’t seen Eddie for many years I have many fond memories of him.  I think Murray's description of Eddie is very accurate. 

Having grown up in St. Mary's Boys School I knew Eddie from around the school, the church hall and the neighbourhood. Eddie was a guy you couldn't help but like because he gave you no reason not to.

It is funny the memories you have of people. With Eddie, for me, it was hanging out at the Windsor St. entrance to St. Pat's High School. It would have been 74/75.....his grade 10 year and my grade 12 year. All I can remember is constant laughter with Eddie. He had a great sense of humour.  He and I got  into a habit of visiting the Cake Box, across the street on Quinpool Road,  almost on a daily basis to get these big round plain donuts they made. He and I called them "Big D's" lol. We would say...."Big D today buddy"...."why not" and away we'd go. When I think of Eddie I have an instant ear to ear smile.

Eddie was truly a great guy with a kind heart. My sincere condolences to all the family.

Our condolences to Wilfred, Gregory, Patrick, Murray, Lillian, Margorie, and Mary Allice. The years have passed by to quickly it's been quite few years since we have seen most of you. Last person I saw was Mary Alice back in the early 2000's  and Victor worked with Wilfred back then also with the commissionaires. I last saw Eddie when I used to visit the family when they lived on Windsor St. I remember those visits as if they were yesterday. He was a young man back then and always loved his animals. We miss the whole family our prayers are with you all at this time.

Uncle Eddie , 
I have only good memories of you ,  you had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off your back.  
I will remember the times you babysat me and my brothers and you would order us pizza and play bingo and let us win $1 each time.   Not knowing that you ended up giving us your babysitting money till we got way older.   I love all my uncles but you will always hold a special part in my heart.  You made times easier for us kids when we were going through a rough time.   Thank you for being there    Love you always xoxo.

Uncle Eddie, you were already a treasure. When I think of you, only happy memories come to mind.  I will always remember your kindness, your smile, your charm and how you were always so happy to see us.
Bernie and I loved our visits when we were little, you would take us for walks, share your Archie comics with us, tell us your funny jokes, and order us the best fish and chips at Camille's.
As I got older, I loved our phone calls, and my children loved the way you always made them feel special.
Still today they keep you in their prayers, "God Bless Nanny and Uncle Eddie"

My memories of you, span your lifetime, I was 12 years old when you were born.  You came into this world prematurely and you left the same way.  In between you were the sweetest, dearest, loving and charming, person and brother the world has ever known.  My heart grieves for you Eddie.

My Uncle Eddie was truly a kind, gentle, giving soul with a fantastic sense of humour!  I always looked forward to and treasured our visits, from the time I was a kid up to the last time last time I saw him a few years ago.  

There were times I would catch him looking over at me and when I would look at him, he would secretly flip me the bird,  and then cover his mouth giggling because he didn't get caught by anyone.

There has been so many heartfelt moments, talks, laughs with you Eddie over the years and I will carry them all with me in my heart.  You made a tremendous positive impact on my life and I will always remember you and miss you 💗

Eddie loved walking and we shared many long walks together.  He  was a quiet person who didn’t talk much but was always willing to listen .  He loved to make you laugh.   He loved to swim, his favourite candy was chocolate covered jujubes and now they are my favourite!
He was kind and gentle and I will miss him more than I can put in words.
 



Uncle Eddie, when Mom and Dad had me, you and Uncle Pat were 5 years old and Uncle Murray was 6 years old. It was like having big brothers around. That feeling continued as I grew up and even though we moved away that feeling continued. I looked forward to our vacations “down home”.  You were always surrounded by me, Bev,  Mike and our cousins because we knew your true spirit.  You were a kind hearted, patient, funny, accepting Uncle and I will miss you terribly. I will hold dear all of my memories of you. While I may cry thinking about your passing, my memories will bring a smile to my face.  Love you Uncle Eddie!

Eddie never held grudge... ever... no matter what. He never asked for anything, but was willing to give everything. 

There is no such thing as a perfect human... we are all flawed just for being such... but my brother Eddie came closer than anyone! I will miss you dearly and will carry you in my heart and mind for ever my sweet, kind brother.
