Beaver, Eileen Elizabeth, 83, of Halifax, passed away on July 13, 2011 at the QE II Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Hillison. Eileen loved sewing, cooking and music, as well as playing bingo. She was happiest when spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Wayne, Robert (Faye), Arnold (Linda) and John; daughters, Sharon (Robert), Linda (Ken), Darlene (Andy), Janet (Mario) and Shelley (Blaine); sister Noreen; 18 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, grandsons, Dudley and Robert; great grandchildren, Cassandra Ty, and Havin; brothers, Teddy and Sonny; sisters, Trixie, Jackie, Marie, Margie, Patty and Delores. Visitation will be held on Monday July 18 from2-4 and 7-9pm at Cruikshank’s Halifax Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, where a memorial service will be held on Tuesday July 19 at 11am.
