Munro, Elsie (Holmes) 92 Halifax passed away peacefully on May 3, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born in London England in 1921, she came to Canada as a war bride and spent 63 wonderful years married to her late husband Leonard. She was a passionate volunteer of the IWK having made thousands of finger puppets. She was an avid card player and thoroughly enjoyed playing a competitive game of bridge and cribbage with her many friends and family. Elsie is survived by her son David (Gisele) and twin daughters Elaine and Eileen and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her eldest daughter Shirley. She will be remembered for her witty humour and loving nature she had for her family and friends. A private family service has been held.
