Gareth Parry passed away peacefully in the QE II Hospital on August 30, 2025.

Gareth was born in Eccles UK, he was the son of Roland and Blodwen ( nee Davis) Parry.

He moved to Canada from the UK in 1968 along with his wife Elizabeth and 3 children to work for CIBC. His youngest son David was born in Oakville, Ontario.

He then worked for Michelin Tire Canada as VP Administration from 1973 until his retirement in 1992.

Following his retirement he moved to Halifax and enjoyed spending time in Florida with his wife Elizabeth during the winters. He also liked to visit New Glasgow and spend time at Melmerby Beach in the summer. He always looked forward to taking trips back to the UK and Toronto.
