He is survived by his wife of forty years, Donna (Connors), Hubley; son Gordon Lynds, Hammonds Plains; daughter Michelle Lynds and her husband Jonathan Pearce, Toronto; brother Dave and his wife Bev, Timberlea, along with their daughters Denise, Halifax and Dianna, Fall River.
Gary was a long time employee of Canada Post. He loved working on old cars, woodwork and various renovations.
The family would like to thank Closing the Gap and the VON for the care they gave him the last month and a half. Because of this he was able to remain home with Donna and his dog Kirby.
If anyone would like to make a donation in his memory, the family would appreciate it going to the Canadian Red Cross. There will be a small graveside service on December 21st at 2pm, no visitation.
