Glenn was born in Halifax and moved to Calgary in 1993, where he worked mainly with Sear’s Warehouse before returning to Halifax in 2009. He suffered from but beat throat cancer in 2003 and recently underwent spinal surgery. Glenn had a heart of gold and he not only loved, but was loved, by many.
Glenn was predeceased by his parents, Frances (Hogan) and Walter Johnson; his sisters Beverly and Barbara; grandson MichaelAngelo; and niece Shyla. He is survived by his brothers Michael (Joan) and Walter (Judy); sisters Norma (Derek) and Joann (Douglas); children Glenn MacIsaac, Tiffanie MacIsaac, Christopher MacDonald, and Kimberly MacDonald; his longtime friend, and partner until separation, Janet MacDonald; grandchildren Bella (age 9), Gage (5), Jason (4), Leah (2), Anthony (5 weeks), Marissa (15), Nikhi (11), Rickiah (4), Koda (12), Kyle (13), and Arman (6).
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 22nd from 2-4pm, followed immediately by the funeral service, in Cruikshank’s Funeral Home on Windsor St. Following the service there will be a reception at Railbirds Billards on Kempt Rd.
