Savage, Gordon Arthur “Buzz” age 84 of Halifax, passed away August 12, 2017 in Northwood Manor. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Charles and Anna May (Martell) Savage .Buzz is survived by his sister June(Publicover) Patterson of Saint John , N.B., his sister-in -law Lorraine Publicover , St. Albert, Alberta and several nieces.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Doris Savage, his brother Thomas Publicover, his nephew Thomas Savage and his niece Pamela Publicover .Buzz loved his western movies and western novels and loved to go for long walks around Halifax. The family would like to thank the staff of Northwood Manor for the wonderful care given to Buzz during the last eight years, where he was able to call this his "home". A memorial service will be held Friday August 18, 2017 at 2pm in Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St., Halifax. Rev. Jim Anderson officiating .
