Lifetime resident of Halifax, passed peacefully at the QEII Hospital on September 3, 2017. He was the last member of his immediate family. Born October 13, 1925 to the late Walter and Frances (Forrest) Pike.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Mary (Eisan), sons Lorne (Carol-Anne) Bedford, Brian (Wendy) Cole Harbour and Stephen (Wanda) Bedford.
After a long successful career with Dominion Stores and Larsen Meat Packers he turned his attention to being available for his grandchildren, whenever needed.
He was greatly loved by Jason, Meredith, Amanda, Trevor, Kristin, Eric and great grandson Luke. He was predeceased by brothers Wallace, John, Horace and sisters Thelma, Ida, Marjorie and Frances.
The family will be receiving family and friends at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, Windsor Street, between 2-4 and 7-9 on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Family flowers only.
He will be missed.
