Iris Ramsay

Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Grace (Caustin) Balche. Surviving is son Edward Jr. (Christel) of Dartmouth, daughter Linda of Toronto; sons Wayne of Bedford, Stephen of Toronto, Randall (Susan) of Victoria, BC and Richard of Halifax as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Ramsay and nine sisters.

Cremation has taken place at her request and a graveside service will take place at a later date; she will be laid to rest with her husband at Camp Hill Cemetery. the family wishes to thanks family Doctor, Dr. Glazebrook and Geriatric Care team of Doctors, Nurses and Social Workers on the 9th floor of Abbie J. Lane site, QE II for their loving and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations in Iris's honour may be made to the charity of your choice. We were so grateful and blessed to have such a wonderful mother and grandmother, she was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
