We had the pleasure of hosting Roddy at the Chebucto Inn twice while his apartment was having work done.
Such a sweet man with lots of stories to share. Too bad someone couldn't post a picture, I'm sure lots of people would remember his kind face.
R.I.P. Roddy :-(

We have known Roddy for many years from the Olympic Bingo. Roddy and my dad, Clyde Hilton, would continuously joke and carry on with each other. Always remember him putting his hand to his ear and saying “what was that”. Lots of good memories.
Rest In Peace.

I first met Roddy when I was 13 at the Bingo Hall on Cunard st in Halifax, His mom and my mom and him were playing Bingo, he was charming, had an infectious laugh and was a loving Son to his Mom, We kept in touch through out all the years and even if time went by and we never saw each other when we did he was always the same, He was so interested in nature, a good book, and Bingo, Rest In Peace my friend, More like a big brother than you know, 🙏❤️

and enjoyed the company of all people, young and old.
