2 Timothy, 4 Verse 7
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
Through the Grace of God to reach 91 years of age. We give God thanks and praise in all things. My father lived a wonderful life with his beautiful and loving wife Shirley of 60 years of marriage with their 16 children.
To God be the glory he served his Lord and Saviour until God transition him to a higher place.
My dad was a loving and kind father, grandfather, great grandfather and
father in-law.

My father Joseph Berl Tynes loved God, his family and his church. He married a wonderful, beautiful, kind, caring and loving woman our mother Shirley. They had 16 children and brought them up with love and respect not just for each other but to respect everyone. I thank God for blessing us with two loving and caring parents. Educating their children and bringing them up with love, discipline and life goals was important to them. No matter what we wanted to do or become as long as it was good for us they supported us.
My father was a humble man, he loved us so much and showed it in so many different ways to each one of his children depending on their needs. We all know we could always count on him no matter what. The Lord blessed us with a great father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great great grandfather. I know I will see him again.
Rest in peace father, Love Jenny

So sorry to hear about your father Joey. It's never easy to lose a parent no matter how old they are and it sounds like he was a wonderful person. You've probably heard about the group from Richmond school getting together and Lee shared the obituary. I often think about what a great guy you were (and still are I'm sure). I bet your father was really proud of the man you became. I hope you're doing well and please pass on my condolences to your family.

RIP to a great friend who will be sadly missed. Donnie Grant.
