Marion Elizabeth Christie

have a memory or condolence to add?

My sympathies go out to Jean, Donna , Bev and family. I remember Marion when our paths crossed on occasion. Your parents-Bill and Dorothy were close friends of my parents -Hilda and Avery Bezanson. They "stood" for Mom and Dad's wedding and I have a wedding picture of your parents at home.[I was looking at it the other day]. When Dorothy lived in Wolfville ,she would visit my mother. I realize this condolence seems more about your parents, but that is my connection to your family and I wish to express my sympathy at this sad time and let you know I am thinking of you and our family's past connection.

Miss Christie was my grade 5 teacher, 37 years ago at Uniacke District School and I remember her as if it was yesterday. She always wore the prettiest skirts. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. She was always one of my favourite teachers.

I went to school with Marion in Oxford and remember
her as a very nice girl who worked hard in school. She
was always pleasant. My sympathy to Marion's family.

My condolences to the family
My dad (Roland Spicer) was the principal in Indian Harbour when Miss Christie taught there and I had her for a teacher. Also have a photo with her. A special memory.
