Mary Edna Martin

Born in Halifax. She was the daughter of the late Gerald and Linda Sheppard. She was a

devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Linda Quackenbush (Peter),

Kevin Martin, (Joanne), brother, Gordon Sheppard, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren and

several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon, daughter Karen Solomon,

brothers Bernie and Gerald Sheppard and sister Mary Richardson.

Mom was devoted to her religion. Many thanks to Jim Bernard for assuring mom got

to church on Sundays.

Visitation will take place Monday January 8th from 6-8 in Cruikshank’s Funeral Home 2666

Windsor Street Halifax.

Mass will be celebrated Tuesday January 9th, 10:30 a.m., at St Michaels Church, Halifax

. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia.
