Dear Sister Nancy,
I was sorry to read of the passing of your dear brother Michael. As a youngster, I have vivid memories of Mike sitting on your front steps as I walked to ‘Andy’s store’ for my mother. He always had a smile and friendly ‘hello’ for me. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

Nancy, I am so sorry to hear of your brother Michael's passing. I did not have the pleasure of knowing him, but can only believe that he had the same wonderful human qualities of love, giving and compassion that I know of you. Hopefully we can be together at some point in time when you would share some of his history with me. We'll be in touch.

Dearest Nancy and family,
Our prayers and thoughts have been with you in the silent sidelines since we heard of yours and Michael’s journey of courage and deep love. Nightly God Blesses, decades of the rosary and whispers of hope, have been sent over treetops from our home to yours. Know that your sisterly dedication, loyalty and love have enriched Michael and brightened his every breath. Michael is forever sheltered in the shadow of God’s wings now advocating for us in Heaven. Huge hugs from the whole Hammond and a Potvin clan. Kevin and I provided music for very small group of family members gathered in St. Jospeh's Church to bid farewell to your cousin Carol Kline yesterday morning. We can only imagine that there’s a heavenly reunion of joy, family embraces and prevailing peace.

Our forever love,

Dorothy and Kevin Hammond, Prospect Village, N.S.
