DRISDELLE, Nola Marie (Babineau) – 84, passed away peacefully on January 11th, 2012 at St. Vincents Nursing Home, Halifax. Born in 1927 in Sanford, Maine to Henry Babineau and Anna Legere. She is survived by husband of 66 years Arthur, and children Ivan (Patricia), Henry (Jennifer Oake), Victor (Rosemary), Doug (Gail), and Pamela (Ted Burchell). Nola is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and sisters Augusta, Bernadette and Lorraine, and brothers Edmund and Edgar. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother with a generous heart and warm spirit. There will be visitation from 2-4pm on Sunday, January 15th in Cruikshanks Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St., Halifax (902) 423-7295. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, January 16th in St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, Spryfield. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lwr. Sackville.
