Saulnier, Norma Jessie (nee Southern), age 91 of Dartmouth, NS passed away on June 9, 2022 at the Halifax Victoria General Hospital. Born in Port Maitland, NS, she was the daughter of the late Florence (nee Coates) and Murray Southern.
She was a long serving employee of DND at CFB Cornwallis until her retirement. Norma was very fond of music and was a former member of the ScotianAires.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Saulnier Sr; her eldest son, Robert Jr and her brother Floyd (Connie Southern).
Norma is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Stephen Schofield) of Eastern Passage; her son, Gerald of Edmonton, AB; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 15 at 2pm from Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax with a private interment at Port Maitland Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
