I knew Norman since the early 80's.  We drifted apart, but  I had no idea he died until I came across this page.   Another person gone too young.

I would often see Norman on my visits to the Environment Canada offices in Dartmouth.  He was always friendly, helpful and was what I would call a solutions-oriented person.  He will be missed.  To his extended family I wish to extend belated sympathies.

Norman(Normie)and I became good friends over the years working together, here at EC.  I already miss his visits and our chats/laughs together. My heartfelt sympathy are with you at this difficult time. Please take care and much love.

Norm was a great co-worker, always willing to lend you a helping hand.  We shared many laughs over the years and I will miss our chats on the elevator and when he dropped by the floor.  He will truly be missed by his EC co-workers.  My sincerest sympathies and condolences to his family and friends.

Norman was truly a kind and gentle man and will be greatly missed in the neighbourhood.

I was so very sorry to hear of Norm's passing.  Although I only knew Norm a short time it didn't take long to see what a wonderfully kind, generous and special person he was.  He will truly be missed.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones.

Norm was one of the good guys.  Always cheerful, he did his work competently and conscientiously.  You could tell he was a caring person.  I didn't know of his volunteer work, but I'm not surprised.

I was shocked to see his obit this morning.  My sincere condolences to the family.

Norm was a wonderful person, so kind and friendly... we will miss him so much at Environment Canada; he was always there to help you out, always smiling.  My deepest sympathy to all his family during this most heart breaking time.

I met Norman many years ago and he was immediately someone you could talk to and have a laugh with. He will be missed by many. So very sorry for your loss.

I worked with Norm for over 17 years and got to know him very well. He was unique and had his own way of doing things, but he always enjoyed interacting with his fellow workers.Always willing to lend a hand...he will be sadly missed by his Environment Canada colleagues and I offer my sincere and heartfelt condolences to his family.....may you find peace and comfort over the coming days.....
