Kordolemis Acker, Rita, 57 of Halifax passed away on September 28, 2016 at the QEII Victoria General Hospital. She was the daughter of Peter and the late Stavroula Kordolemis. Rita had a love of gardening and a smile for everyone but children always had a special place in her heart.
She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Roy Acker; father, Peter; sister, Maria Kordolemis; brother, George and her niece, Nicolette whom she adored dearly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 3 from 7-9 pm from Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax. Funeral service will take place at 2pm on Tuesday, October 4 at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church, 38 Purcell’s Cove Rd, Halifax. Memorial donations in memory of Rita may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
