Robert leaves behind his children, Robert (Pat), Glenn (Heather); grandchildren, Natasha and Aaron, great grandchildren, Marina, Coral and Moksha; brothers, Borden, Donald and Elton.
He was predeceased by parents Joseph and Hilda; wife Laura; sons, Wade and David and grandsons, Robbie and Adam..
Robert was a World War II Veteran Merchant Marine and worked with Coca Cola Ltd. for the remainder of his working days. Robert‘s favorite past times were fishing and going to the camp on ATV rides. His sparkling Blue eyes, filled with sheer devilment, and his consistent sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held 1pm Monday June 26,2017 in Cruikshank’s Funeral Home , 2666 Windsor St. Halifax with burial to follow at William Black Cemetery, Glen Margaret , NS.
