We were on the waterfront when the Tall Ships were in Halifax. We had a great time.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy at this difficult time. Roberta and I were co-workers with the RCMP for many years and became really good buddies.  I truly valued her friendship and kindness to all. She loved her family and friends dearly and the Capricorn girls! We had many fun times together that I will treasure forever, especially her trip here to Newfoundland and our trip to Regina  (Depot), budget meetings, shopping sprees and a nice restaurant after a long day! She dedicated her career to the RCMP and was a shining  example of a valued employee who went above and beyond the call of duty. Til we meet again my trusted friend, God Bless, Diane Butler

So very sorry for your loss. My husband Bill Brydon worked with your mom at the RCMP and I had the pleasure of meeting her over the years. what a precious loving lady with an incredible work ethic. She and I shared a glass or two of wine while a crew was painting her dear home on Grosvenor Rd. She loved her lavender colour. So sorry to hear of Roberta's passing. My husband and I worked on the 4th floor on Oxford Street for years, and have fond memories of speaking with Roberta daily - she had a warm smile and was a lovely person. Will keep her family in our thoughts and prayers during this sad time.

Ian and Heather, so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing.  When I moved from Bridgewater to Halifax HQ she was the first to welcome me, showed me around and introduced me to everyone.  Her kindness and thoughtfulness  will never be forgotten.

I am so very sorry to hear of Roberta's passing.  We worked together for the Commanding Officer just prior to her retirement.  She and I had a lot of good laughs and many great conversations.  She was a lovely lady - kind and gentle.   She will be missed dearly.  My sincere condolences to Roberta's family.

It is with sadness and a deep sense of loss to learn of Roberta's passing. Our friendship dates back to 1962 with my arrival to Halifax from Depot Division.  She was a delight to be with a a guiding light to all who knew her. She will be missed.

As a former RCMP employee in N.B., I had the pleasure of meeting her, attending conferences with her, getting together, talking to her on the phone, etc., etc.  She was such a soft-spoken & kind lady. I worked with Roberta for almost 36 years and known her to be a vibrant worker and friend.  She loved life and her family.  She was proud to work for the RCMP and it showed.  I remember when we went on strike in 1991 and she was afraid to actually go on strike for the first time in her career.  She came out and was one of our most fierce and best strikers.  No one wanted to cross her line!  She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered. R.I.P. Roberta.

Heather & Ian - sorry for your loss.  Roberta and I shared much laughter and tears through the years at the RCMP.  Her children were her life so I heard all your adventures.  She is now sharing those with the angels.

She was easily the best dressed woman in the Division - always well turned out in a beautiful skirt suit. She was simply a lovely lady.

My deepest condolences.  I was her replacement after she retired from the RCMP.  She was a lovely, kind, and wonderful person.  She joined us for a trip to RCMP Depot in Regina in 2009 with other executive assistants from various divisions across Canada. She enjoyed that trip so much and I think it must have been a dream come true for her.

Roberta's hard work, good humour and pleasantness will not be forgotten.

I remember parking out front of the old Oxford St, Headquarters Bldg just after I had affixed the 'Memorial Mounties' on the side of my new Goldwing. Roberta had walked out onto the front steps for a shot of sunshine and noticed immediately that the Horse and Riders' Pennants were at Half Staff and commented "Oh Dear, so Tragic but how Fitting"...Most young serving Members don't notice but Roberta did.....74 is Way Way Too Young.... This lady bought Dignity and Presence to the Headquarters and the CO's Office.
A Gracious Lady, she will be greatly missed by all.....Blessed Journey...
