He was employed by DND at CFB Stadacona and Windsor Park for many years, retiring in 1995. He was a longtime Legion member and enjoyed listening to country music. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Carol Anne (Dawson), sons, Darren, Kelowna, BC, Michael (Maxine) Dartmouth, Douglas (Jenny) Halifax, grandchildren, Taylor and Haley, five sisters, Barbara, June, Ethel, Bonnie, Darlene; three brothers, Terry, Inglis, Billy; as well as his beloved pet Gilbert.
Predeceased by a sister Donna.

A memorial service will be held at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 2:00pm. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA.
