
Dear Nathan, Caleb and family, 

Please accept my sincere sympathy on the passing of your dear Shirley. We met during our early days at MSVU and I considered myself honored to enjoy a friendship with that vivacious, spontaneous, incredibly smart and kind young woman. In conversations over the years, she would always speak with such care of her beloved family. I am so very sorry for the loss of this beautiful soul..she will leave a sadness in the hearts of many.

I remember Shirley from grade school growing up in Halifax. She was always a friendly and outgoing person and we shared a lot of laughs in school.
