Theresa Harriet Murray

Murray, Theresa Harriet age 84 of Halifax passed away May 28, 2015 in Northwood Centre. Born in 1931 in River Bourgeois. She was a daughter of the late William and Sara McPhee. Theresa and her late husband Roger worked for the Canadian National Institute in many locations in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick retiring in St. Andrew’s NB., later moving to Timberlea. Theresa was a kind and gentle person who was loved by everyone who knew her. Surviving are a daughter Linda (John) Edmonton, sisters Florence Bowes (Calvin), Halifax, Rose McPhee (Bernard) Halifax, brothers Wilfred (Nicky) , Ontario, Cletus ( Mary) ,Cheticamp, Tony ,Ontario, and Jerry ( Annette) Truro. She was predeceased by brothers Bernie, Joseph; sister Margaret, an infant brother Tommy and infant sister Edith. The family would like to sincerely thank you to the RN’s, LPN‘s, PCW’s of 5c Northwood Centre and in particular thanks to the kitchen staff for their kind efforts. A Memorial service will be held 10am Saturday June 6,2015 St. Andrews Anglican Church , 2553 St Margaret’s Bay Rd. Timberlea, Rev. Mark Pretty officiating .Interment in Pleasant Hill Cemetery .
