He was employed with Canada Packers in Edmonton for 40 years. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Halifax. He is survived his wife Sophie, daughter Denise Szuler Halifax son in law Robert Radchuck , Toronto; grandson Paul Radchuck Toronto, granddaughter Katherine Radchuck Halifax and sister Irene Klos ,Edmonton Alberta; and her children Denise, Conrad ,Richard and Paul . Zygmunt was predeceased by his daughter Dr. Irene Szuler in 2004. A Funeral service will be held 11am Thursday December 19, 2013 in St. John the Baptist Church, Purcell’s Cove Rd. Halifax, Rev Larry Pitcher officiating. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of choice.
