Obituary

Ada Frances "Moe" Reed, age 75 of Hamilton, departed this world to be with her Heavenly Father on April 1, 2014 at her residence. She was born on May 16, 1938 in Harlan, Kentucky the daughter of the late Cisco and Mary Magdelena (Fee) Ledford. On September 1, 1956 she married Berlin Reed and they resided in Hamilton, Ohio for their 32 years of marriage. Frances was the owner and operator for many years of Reed's Beauty Shop and Reed's Grocery, both in Hamilton. She was a devoted member of St. Peter In Chains Catholic Church and loved serving her Lord. Frances enjoyed many hobbies including bingo, antique shopping and going to the casino. She left this world with the legacy of a hard working woman who loved many and was loved by many. Frances was the proud mother of four children: three sons, Charles, Richard (Bobbie Jean) and James (Lisa) Reed; and daughter, the late Louanne Reed. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, June Couch; and many other loving friends and relatives. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; daughter; two brothers, Robert and George Ledford; and sister, Beulah Napier.
