Allyson Marie Waits, age 54, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield. She was born on November 21, 1971 in Silver Spring, MD, the daughter of David B. Waits and the late Sandra Matthies Waits. Allyson is survived by her father, David and his wife Elizabeth Waits; step-mother, Susan Clair; daughter, Morgan Maguire and her fiancé Taylor Norris; son, Jaxson Jiga; partner and the father of Jaxson, John Jiga; step-daughter, Martha Maguire; sister, Amanda Waits; step-brother, Douglas Meddings; cousin, Jillian Lichtenberg; and numerous other family members and friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra; step-sister, Kimberly Brenner; and half-sister, Jennifer Waits. Following her wishes, Allyson’s ashes, along with her mother’s ashes, will be spread at Clearwater Beach, which was one of her favorite places to be.
