Alta Mae Sherman

Alta Mae (nee Black), passes away November 21, 2013 at the age of 88. She was born Spt. 9, 1925 in Pulaski County Kentucky. She wa the sixth child of eight born to the lat W.D and Mary Black. She married Mendell Sherman on June 29, 1944 in London KY. She was a devoted Christian and sold Avon for many years.She is survived by her three children Mary (Don) McDaniel, Galyin Ray (Linda) Sherman and Wanda (Dan) Roesch; six grandchildren ,Earl (Kristine) McDaniel, Robert (Brenda) McDaniel, Joshua Roesch, Crystal (Ross) Dwyer, Nathan Sherman and Stephen Roesch; six great-grandchildren, Veronica McDaniel, Tim McDaniel, Tyler McDaniel, Ryan McDaniel, Brendan Dwyer and Chase Dwyer and Three sisters, Alma Mize of Corbin Ky, Fay Robinson of Mediapolis IA, Edith (John) Champlin of Winter Haven FL.. She was preceded in death by her sisters Vena Edwards, Arthie Cheek and Ruth Beckner and one brother Clint Black.
