At 37 years of age Angela Gomez passed away peacefully amongst family in her home on July 16, 2013. She came into this world November 13, 1975 in Hamilton thanks to her parents Albert Rose Jr. (Deceased), and Charlotte Faye Rose (McQueen). She was the Assistant For The Vice President On Premise for G&J Pepsi (Yes, the place that your delicious sugary drinks come from.), and she let everyone know it. After a decade of trying to resist Casey Gomez’ goofy, yet groovy charm, they finally married on August 20, 2010. She also leaves behind a loving family and community including Dalton, and Shyann Thomas, Chad, Courtney, and Ryan Rose, Jacob Broering, and beloved pets Loki, Leia, and Luka, along with the many others of her family that she cherished so much.
She spent her days in a multitude of ways, but many hours were dedicated to sitting on the edge of her seat trying to finding out why one murders another, and how they almost got away with it through the Investigation Discovery channel. She also loved to garden, spending many a hot Summer nights digging out those dastardly weeds that plagued the front of her yard way too often. Man did she hate those things. But she loved nothing more than spending every waking moment of everyday with her family. She loved taking trips, having pool parties, and just flat out hanging with the people that she loved. But the people she loved had no limit, she was always welcoming to any person that came to her. She had open arms, and never turned away a single being. In fact, she loved family so much that she had a started a weekly “Thursday family night”, that will be carried on even in her absence.
Most people will beat around the bush when it comes to confrontation, but not her. She was always straight to the point no matter what, she always had a solution for every problem, and the circumstance did not matter. Heck, she even helped people with their problems that she had never met before. She considered all of Lindenwald her family, and she liked it that way. She was never cryptic, in fact her motto was, “I mean what I say, and I say what I mean.”
This Saturday July 20, 2013 there will be a celebration of Angie’s life, preceded by a ceremony headed by Rev. Edwin Beck beginning at 1 P.M.
