

Annabelle “Anne” Waltner, age 83, of Hamilton, died on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Ft Hamilton Hospital. She was born in Hamilton on April 30, 1928, the daughter of the late James and Mary Lee (Gill) McKinney. She was a graduate of Hamilton High School. On June 16, 1951, in Hamilton, Anne married her husband of over 60 years, Leonard Thomas Waltner, and he preceded her in death on November 19, 2009. She was a secretary and bookkeeper for the Overhead Door Company in Hamilton for 22 years retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Lindenwald Baptist Church and the Girls Card Club. Anne is survived by her son, David (Elizabeth “Becky”) Waltner; daughter, Joni (Stanley) Ellington; six grandchildren, Michele (John) Hancock, Cynthia (David) Cramond, Angela (Ryan) Davis, Jennifer (Andrew) Kidd, Melissa Waltner and Brian Waltner; eleven great-grandchildren, James, Mariana, Matthew, Alyson, Sydney, Austin, Caleb, Cooper, Matthew, Michelle and David; and two great-great-grandchildren, Kadence and Ariana. Anne was also preceded in death by her brother, Marion “James” McKinney. A memorial service will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton, at 12 noon on Saturday, March 24, 2012, with Pastor Randy Moore officiating. Family and friends will be received prior to the service from 10am-12 noon at the funeral home.
