April L. McCoy age 54, of Hamilton went to be with The Lord Wednesday, August 20, 2014. She was born in Hamilton on April 27, 1960, the daughter of Martin Carl and Erma Jean (Halcomb) Sackenheim. She was a nurse, graduating from Good Samaritan School of Nursing, Cincinnati and was employed at Hospice of Hamilton. She is survived her mother, Erma Sackenheim; three children, Tiffany (Ryan) Krall, Hamilton, Scott (Stacy) McCoy, Hamilton and Matt (Kayla) McCoy, Indianapolis; her brother, Marty (Julie) Sackenheim, Hamilton; three sisters, Debby (Denzil) Baker, Karla (Kurt) Kesner and Pamela Sackenheim all of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Luke Krall, Abby Krall and Shelby McCoy and her four legged best friend "Bear". Also, numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Martin Sackenheim on December 28, 2012. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Hamilton, 1010 Eaton Ave., Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
