Archie Edward Rager

RAGER, Archie Edward, Age 95 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday February 8, 2017 at the Woodlands of Hamilton. He was born in Middletown on March 16, 1921 the son of the late John Elmer and Laverna (Somers) Rager. On September 12, 1942 he married the love of his life, Grace Miller. Archie was a retired farmer, Army Air Force Veteran of WWII and member of Community Church in Liberty Twp. He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Grace Rager; three daughters, Janet (Joe) Streit, Judith (Joe) Crabb and Cindy (Frank) Wilson; nephew Logan Maurice Miller; seven grandchildren, Jackie (Mark) Ponder, Lori (John) Crout, John (Susan) Streit, Melissa Streit, Edward (Gwen) Streit, Daniel (Melissa) Stevenson, and Angela Stevenson; eight great grandchildren, Savannah Ponder, Robert Ponder, Joshua Crout, Tyler Breh, Tim Streit, Elizabeth Streit, Clayton Streit, and William Streit; sister Florence Lanier and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 10am to 1pm on Saturday February 11, 2017 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. Funeral ceremony will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Jack Woodward officiating. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions be made in his memory to the DAV Chapter 15, PO Box 118 Fairfield, Ohio 45018.
