It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ashlie Lyn-Nicole Villarreal, a vibrant free spirit who left us too soon at the age of 34. She departed this world on December 16, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Born on August 22, 1990, Ashlie lived life with an infectious joy that touched everyone she met. A mother, sister, daughter, and friend, she embraced every role with warmth and unwavering support. Her laughter filled the room, and her kindness had no bounds. Ashlie had a passion for singing that resonated in the hearts of those who heard her. Whether she was belting out her favorite tunes at home or serenading friends at gatherings, her voice was a celebration of life itself. Music was not just a hobby for her; it was a reflection of her soul. An avid softball player, Ashlie found freedom on the field. Like her mother, she was a catcher in little league and all through high school at Talawanda. In her adult years she played with her mother and sister, Brandi, and the three of them were a force to be reckoned with. Ashlie played with a fierce determination and a playful spirit, inspiring her teammates and bringing fun to every game. The camaraderie she shared with her fellow players was a testament to her love for the game, friendship, and teamwork. Her adventurous spirit was evident in everything she did. Ashlie believed in living life to the fullest, often exploring new places, trying new things, and encouraging those around her to do the same. She had a unique ability to find beauty in the ordinary and to see the extraordinary in life’s simplest moments. Though Ashlie has left this world, her free spirit will continue to soar, reminding us to sing loudly, play passionately, and cherish every moment. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Ashlie was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Emma Villarreal; and her uncle, Randy Ross. Ashlie leaves behind her beloved child, Avery Clontz; her loving parents, Vaunda Villarreal and Paul (Sarah) Villarreal; her devoted siblings, Brandi (Luke) Wade, Logan Villarreal, Seth Villarreal, Darian (Brantley) Akers, Destiny Hipp, and Devin Hipp; maternal grandparents, Kenny (Bonnie) Bates; paternal grandparents, Frank (Penny) Wallace III; and she is also survived, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and by countless friends who were fortunate enough to know her. Each of us carries a piece of her spirit in our hearts, and her memory will forever inspire us to embrace life with the same passion and joy she embodied. A Celebration of Ashlie's Life where family and friends can come together to honor her incredible journey will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Avenue, Hamilton on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 5pm until 7pm, with a Service to follow at 7pm.
