Betty Green

Age 82, of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Cincinnati on Saturday, August 29, 2015. She was born in East Bernstadt, Kentucky on October 2, 1932 the daughter of Thomas P. and Lillian (Cornett) Lincks. Betty was a 1950 graduate of Hamilton High School. On April 14, 1956 in Hamilton she married Larry Green. Betty was employed as a stenographer at Ohio Casualty Insurance Company, and later as office manager at Ohio Casualty Credit Union. She attended Grace United Methodist Church. Betty enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends, and loved spending time with her card club friends. Betty had a great love for family; even in her passing they were brought closer together. Her face lit up with a smile for friends who visited her in her last days. She is survived by her husband of over 59 years, Larry Green; her children, John E. (Pamela) Green of South Bend, Indiana, Shelly L. Green of Hamilton, and James E. (Judy) Green of Mason; and grandchildren, Sara (Brian) Hazelton, Austin Green, and Shelby Green. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Henrietta Brown and Georgia Esther Lincks. Visitation will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Ave. on Wednesday, September 2nd from 10:00 AM to time of funeral service at 12 noon. Private burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Betty’s family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. William Krall and all the many people who provided care during her illness.
