Betty J. Reister, age 86, a resident of Westover Retirement Community died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 4:10 p.m. She was born in Hamilton on June 13, 1927, the daughter of Hubert and Sallie (Smith) Winsted. She married Robert M. Reister on January 24, 1948 in Covington, Kentucky and he preceded her in death on December 16, 2009. She was a homemaker and stay at home mom. She was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where she had been a Sunday School Teacher, Deaconess and on the visiting committee. She is survived by two sons, Steve (Cathy) Reister, Jacksonville, Florida and Rick (Denise) Reister, Westfield, Indiana; one brother, Drex Winsted, Cincinnati; two sisters, Agatha Matheny, of Florida and Wanda Sippel, Cleveland; five grandchildren, Chad, Heidi, Angie, Jackie and Mandy and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three brothers and two sisters. Memorial may be directed to Immanuel Baptist Church, 1770 Eaton Road, Hamilton Ohio 45013.
