Betty Jane Scrivner, age 93 of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026. She was born in Liberty, IN on September 6, 1933, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Bessie Belden. She graduated from Hamilton High School in 1951 and upon graduating, was employed at the Mosler Safe Company for nine years. On August 16, 1952, she married her high school sweetheart, Leroy, who preceded her in death on September 3, 2024 after 72 years of marriage. She was a member of the Princeton Pike Church of God and part of the staff for 29 years, which she always felt was a great blessing and honor to be a part of. Betty is survived by her son, Terry (Mary) Scrivner; daughter, Judith Scrivner; grandchildren, Matthew Miracle and Megan (Nick) Kraft; sister, Sharon Click; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Nancy Marie Miracle; and brother, Fred Belden. A Visitation will be held from 12pm until 1pm on Monday, October 19, 2026 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. A Funeral Service will begin at 1pm on Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Jake Jacobs officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
