Blake A. Mulder, 33, of Hamilton, died September 15, 2021 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born November 5, 1987 in Lexington Kentucky, the son of James A. Mulder (deceased) and Tina Marie Barker. Blake attended St. Joseph Consolidated Schools and graduated from Stephen T. Badin High School in 2006, where he was a member of the Badin Football and Basketball teams. He was known as a “gentle giant”. Blake was awarded a full football scholarship to Tiffin University. He was currently employed at Reliance Medical Products Inc. as an electrician/maintenance supervisor. Blake is survived by his two children Blake and Brooke Mulder; his mother Tina M. Barker. He also leaves his maternal grandmother Sondra Angst, and maternal uncle Tony D. Barker, and his special friend Katie Mahoney. Blake is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Russel Barker and Edward Angst and and uncle Ryan Barker. Blake and his grandpa Ed shared a love for The Ohio State Buckeyes Football team, attending home games together for many years. He loved playing frisbee golf with his close friends. He was also very involved father spending time in the outdoors with his two children. Blake had a love for travel and immersing himself in the culture. Blake spent six weeks in Baja California with his host family and good friend Miguel Angel Martinez-Peralta, traveling to Cabo San Lucas, Guadalajara and Mexico City. He also spent three months in Hilo Hawaii learning the culture and traditions. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 171 Washington St. Hamilton, OH 45011 with Father Robert Muhlenkamp officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 22, 2021 from 5-8pm at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Ave Hamilton, OH 45013. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Stephen T. Badin High School Emergency Scholarship Fund 571 New London Rd, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
