He was born October 30, 1953 to the late Carl and Gwen Dees. Brad was a graduate of Taft High School and received a Master’s Degree from Miami University. He was happily married to his wife, Catherine Dees, for 44 years.
Brad worked for Champion International for 26 years and retired from Convergys in 2017. Brad was a member of the Hughes-Bates Masonic Temple like his father before him. Brad enjoyed golfing and spending lots of time with his children and grandchildren. He loved to travel and recently returned from a two-week adventure across the West. Taking trips with his wife, sisters, and brothers-in law brought him great joy. Brad was a charismatic and charming man who won the love and respect of all who met him.
Brad is survived by his wife, Catherine Dees (Wilson); children, Jennifer (Matt) Frechtling, Amanda (Bill) Robinson, Jordan (Jordan) Chafin, and Morgan (Mike) Yancy; grandchildren, Bradley, Benjamin, Evelyn, Parker, Ari, Rowan, and Elliott; sisters, Sandy, Debbie (Mike), and Carla (David); sister-in-law, Wendy (Scott); aunt, Connie (Larry); and many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Brad will be deeply missed by all the family and friends who love him.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at ROSE HILL FUNERAL HOME (formerly Ivey Funeral Home) at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be 11 AM – 1 PM until the time of service followed by interment at Rose Hill.
