

Spencer, Carl Edward Sr., age 68, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 8, 1956, to the union of Billy Haron Spencer and Betty Jean Harmon. “Big Ed” was an easy-going, laid-back family man. He was a friendly individual who never knew a stranger. Ed was a hard-working man who enjoyed his job and fellow co-workers at ODOT (Ohio Department of Transportation). He was a member of Eagles Post 3986, AM Vets Hamilton Post 1983, and of the Masonic Lodge. In his spare time, Ed tinkered with antique cars and took pleasure in playing with his fur babies, “Tippy” and “Baby”.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ed is survived by his loving wife, Debbie; son, Carl Edward Spencer Jr.; daughter, Nichole Vader; brother, Mickey Spencer; grandchildren, Tyler, and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Lucas, and Sage; uncles, Daniel Kolida (Linda Thomas), and James Kolida; sister-in-law, Deanna Childress.
