Charlene Vera (Lotz) Van Doren died Friday, May 19, at the Hospice of Hamilton. She was 81. A lifelong resident of Hamilton, she worked at Srepco Electronics, the YWCA, and the Hamilton Deli on 3rd Street. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles Voorhees Lotz and Bertha Lousie (Ross) Lotz; her stepmother, Ag; her siblings, Nancy and Clarence Lotz; and her husband of 47 years, Raymond Van Doren. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Jean Van Doren Palmer; her granddaughters, Jennifer Palmer-Lee and Gillian Palmer; and her cousin, Evelyn Ewen.
A memorial gathering will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 24 at 11:00 AM.
