
Charles R. (Bob) loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, died April 23, 2012. He was born Dec 9, 1930 in Hamilton, Ohio the son of William Floyd and Mary Ethel (Ward) French. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1949-1952. He worked for General Electric 1962-1972. Retiring from Liebel Flarsheim as a manufacturing manager in 1978. Bob was one of the founding fathers of the Babe Ruth leagues in Lindenwald in the early fifties. He excelled in golf and bowling which he thoroughly enjoyed. Bob is survived by his loving wife Barbara Bunting French who shared his life for 38 years. Son Joseph (Sharon) French of Erlanger, Ky. , daughter Michelle Reif of Erlanger, Stepson Don (Kathy) Bunting of South Carolina, step son Tom of Lynchburg, Ohio and stepdaughter Pat (Dennis) Rollins of Owenton, Ky. Brother Kimber (Sue) French of Morning Sun, Ohio (card playing buddies) Sister Polly Lakes of Florida, Sister Mary Frances (Jim) Sackenheim of Sharonville, Ohio. 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his son Phillip Judson French, brothers William and Judd French, sisters Catherine Halcomb, and Myrtle Reece.
