Age 66, Charles left this life on November 8, 2017. He was born on January 2, 1951 to Richard and Gladys (Hood) Gibson in Hamilton, Ohio. He proudly served in the US Marines. He was a Hamilton City Police Officer from 1979 retiring in 2000. He is survived by his mother and father, his three sisters: Barbara Hughett, Karen Brown, Melody Jensen and one brother: Timothy Gibson (Rebecca). He is survived by the love of his life, Kathryn (Gibson) Turner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorcas, his brother-in-law, Russell Hughett, Jean Shelton, Adrion Turner and Cindi Ledford. A gathering for family and friends will be held on November 25, 2017 from 10:00am to 11:30am with Memorial service to follow at 11:30am at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Ave., Hamilton, Ohio 45011. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the FOP, 180 Joe Nuxhall Way, Hamilton, OH 45011.
