Cheryl Darlene Mishos

Cheryl Darlene Mishos, age 83, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 2, 1942. Cheryl married her husband, Simon Peter Mishos, on January 28, 1961. The couple shared three children and would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this year. Simon passed away February 1st, 2019 and she grieved his passing until her death. Cheryl was an avid reader who especially enjoyed teaching children to read. She found great joy in helping young people discover the love of books and learning. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Peter Mishos; her son, Jeffrey Mishos; her parents, William Haven and Mary Schlotterbeck; and her siblings, Glenna Cupp and William Scott Haven. Cheryl is survived by her daughters, Jodi (Michael) Wright and Joni (Todd) Wyatt; grandchildren, Jessica Mishos and Carly Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Mishos Davis, Jonni Davis and Kade Murphy; and her sister, Tari (Terry) Bunting. Cheryl is also survived by honorary grand and great-grandchildren Cheryl McNally Wagner, Michael (Brittany) McNally, Jackson Wagner, Annie Wagner and Sawyer McNally. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to cousins Tina and Jim Roughan for their ongoing love, companionship, and support. Cheryl truly cherished their time spent together.
