I'd like to share the laughter that Steve was able to bring me. I never had the opportunity to get to know him on a very personal level, although the one major thing that I did know about Steve was he was a very caring person. The few times we did speak, he always emphasized how much he enjoyed children and spending time with his own as well as his beloved niece and nephew. That always stuck out to me, which made me realize that Steve was a selfless person and wanted everyone around him to be very happy. I know Steve shared not just a very special kind of bond with his sister (Misty) but a very specific bond. He talked about the two of them as best friends, who just happen to be brother and sister. Steve had a very contagious laugh, I hope and pray that the ones who knew him get to hear his laughter through his children. May God bless his loved ones and shed peace upon them through these times. I know he will be greatly missed. Please remember, good bye is not forever.....it is until you see them again.
