

Clifford Alvin Weaver, age 77, of Fairfield, died on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at University Hospital of Cincinnati. He was born on May 22, 1935, in Lily, Kentucky, the son of the late Fred Gilmore and Susie (Johnson) Hodges Weaver. On September 22, 1956, in Hamilton, Clifford married Lois Ranke. He retired with 32 years of service in 1990 as an Engineer with General Electric. Clifford was a member of Zion Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved supporting them in any of their many interests. He was a respected and loved husband, father and grandfather. Clifford supported his family with unmatched love and devotion that they will carry with them the rest of their lives. He was not just the head of his family, he was the heart of his family. Clifford is survived by his wife of over 55 years, Lois; two daughters, Kim (Gary) Turner and Pam (Mick) Wright; six grandchildren, Matt (Elizabeth) Turner, Megan (Zac) Reisert, Drew Turner, Caleb Wilson, Mallory Wright and Michael Wright; and two brothers, Homer (Ruby) Hodges and Ray (Jan) Weaver. Clifford was also preceded in death by three siblings, Randall Hodges, Orlena Hodges and Martin Weaver. Funeral Services will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton, at 2:30pm on Monday, June 18, 2012, with Johny Hodges officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Family and friends will be received prior to the service from 12:30-2:30pm.
