David Lee Mainous, age 67, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025. David was born December 10, 1957 in Hamilton, Ohio to George and Jackie (Kunz) Mainous. His mother Jackie and niece Leslie Maxwell precede him in death.
David leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife Jeanne (Setser) Mainous, daughters Jordan (Brad) Mott, Kristen (Doug) Lee, two grandchildren Daniel Lee and Norah Mott. Also surviving are his sister Kim (Tom) Miller, nephews and nieces Jason Maxwell, Nick Johnson, Hannah Maxwell, Brad Humphries, Alex Maxwell and Hendrix Maxwell, many aunts, uncles and friends.
David was a graduate of Taft High School class of 1976 and was a Hot Melt Designer at Valco Melton in Cincinnati. David was selfless, humorous, loved nature and was an animal lover. Most of all, he loved being with his family and loved them dearly. David's family would like to extend a special thank you to Queen City Hospice for their care and compassion.
