She is lovingly remembered by her sons, William Douglas Dietrich and his wife, Davina; Greg Dietrich and his wife, Nicole; and her daughter, Tammy James and her husband, Dan.
She was the devoted and proud “Mamaw Happy” to her nine beloved grandchildren: Maigan Dowell and her husband, Jason; Morgan O’Brien and her husband, Hunter; Maisey Emery and her husband, Noah; McKinnley Dietrich and her boyfriend, Sawyer Bishop; Madalyn Blake and her husband, Logan; Lydia James and her fiancé, Micah Pennington; Kylie James and her boyfriend, Ayden Cline; Daysen Dietrich; and Dristen Dietrich.
Deborah is also survived by her dear friend and life companion of many years, Greg Walker; her loving sisters, Desiree Ayres and Diana Davis; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Grob and Helen Riddle; her stepmother, Carole Grob; her brothers, Donald Grob and Daniel Grob; and her beloved dog, Rocky.
Deborah was the person you could always count on. She always showed up—not only in times of celebration, but in moments of hardship and need. With a ready smile and generous heart, she was always willing to help others. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every gathering, every laugh, and every photograph—faithfully capturing what she lovingly called “memories made and saved.”
A woman of deep faith, Deborah cherished her church family at New Heights Church and loved to worship and sing praises to her God. She found joy in sunshine, the water, butterflies, animals, the color purple, writing poetry, country and gospel music, smiley faces, and heartfelt laughter. She embraced life fully and loved fiercely.
Her final message to those she loved was simple yet profound: “Love is the Greatest Gift of All.”
Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing she is celebrating in Heaven, reunited with loved ones. Her legacy of faith, kindness, joy, and unwavering love will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her.
Deborah’s family will receive friends at New Heights Church, 7350 Dixie Highway, Fairfield, Ohio 45011, Friday, March 6, 2026 starting at 9:30 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 am with Pastor Justin Hanson presiding. Following services, Deborah will be entombed at Rose Hill Burial Park. Arrangements entrusted to Rose Hill Funeral Home, Hamilton.
