Dennis  was such a wonderful person. A genuine Christian . From such a special family. He will be sorely missed. I know that the Holy Spirit is giving his family comfort.  


I remember him from 70 years ago when he spend time with my mom and dad and me.  A good man and uncle!  I have many fond memories of him.  I thoughts and prayers are with his wife and children.

My heart is saddened to read of the passing of Dennis Parman. I met him in church 51 years ago. We played on a softball team together for a short time, but mostly I knew him as a faithful man of God in church who loved God, his family and playing his guitar. He was one of the kindest gentlemen I ever knew.
     My prayers go out to his family. Heaven has been enriched with another follower of Jesus who has gone ahead of us. Frank Vice

Just 7 months ago I took this picture of one of the best brother-in-law’s that God could have created. Dennis has been a part of our family since I was a very young girl. He was a wonderful and kind man who deeply loved my sister, his daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as his family, our families and the church. Joe and I will always love and miss this giant of a man.  We will see you again in Heaven Dennis.

My heart breaks as I hear this news, I have so many fond memories of Dennis, I never remember a single church service when he was not there. He was always kind and always had a smile on his face. He loved his family with everything in him and never met a stranger. I rejoice in knowing that I will see my sweet friend again, and the next time will be forever. Until we meet again.......

Uncle Dennis was one fine true gentleman, and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. He was always ready with a quick smile and in his soft spoken voice, we shared many great stories of his growing up as the baby of the Parman boys. My mom Joyce, was always particularly fond of Dennis, as she remembers helping to raise him when he was young. Uncle Dennis was a beacon to the Parman family.  His strong faith in the LORD Jesus Christ was an encouragement to us all.  His love of family and extraordinary talent on the guitar refreshed us at family reunions.  He was the 'baby' of Grandpa Cap and Granny's "13 kids" raised at the cabin at Union and the home place at Brock Bottom in Laurel County, Kentucky.  We will dearly miss him.  He was taken away from us too soon.  Love and prayers for you all.  Your nephew David Parman.

Dennis was a man of God and was stalwart in his belief.  He was a wonderful to the boys in his Sunday school. Dennis and and his loving wife, Phyllis have been god friends. Dennis used to do my tax form,  as well as Brady's tax form. But he would never let either of us pay him, so we paid him with Skyline. My love and condolence to the Parman and Cain family.
