Diana Lee Newton, age 64, of Hamilton, died on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton on September 4, 1947, the daughter of the late Lee and Armilda (Cook) Manrod. For the past 26 years, she was a nurse for various nursing homes in the area. Diana is survived by her husband of 21 years, Charles Newton; three children, Christopher (Billie) Newton, Wendy (Phil) Conigliaro and Charles L. Newton; six grandchildren; special aunt and uncle, James and Ruby Johnson; and two pet corgies, Cody and Chandler. Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton, at 9am on Saturday, January 28, 2012. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 5-8pm at the funeral home. The family expresses their thanks to Dr. Desai and staff and Hospice of Hamilton for their care and concern.
